While traveling through England years ago I came upon the picturesque villages of Upper and Lower Slaughter. I fell in love with the golden stone buildings, the meandering creeks, winding roads and blooming foliage. The countryside is a popular riding area for Equestrians. My hope is that this painting creates a sense of wonder about what might be up the road around the bend and how wonderful it would be to experience the Cotswolds by horseback.
