One breezy afternoon I was out on the choppy waters of the Penobscot Bay and I spotted the schooners Heritage and Timberwind passing each other on their starboard side.  The lighting was strong, casting a shadow on the Timberwind’s mainsail while lighting up the Heritage.  There was a dramatic sky, which created a colorful backdrop to the flags flying high above the topsails.
